2026 Summer Sports Registrations Now Open! 🔆🏏⚽ We’re excited to let you know that registrations for Term 1 summer sports are now open on our school shop. We understand this time of year can be financially challenging for families so we’ve extended the registration period until the last week of January to give everyone plenty of time. To make things easier, we suggest adding a small amount to your Kindo account each week. By late January, you’ll be ready to register without needing to make one large payment all at once. We’d hate for any child to miss out on the opportunity to play sport. If cost is a barrier, please don’t hesitate to contact me to arrange an ongoing payment plan. All information-including sports on offer, year levels, costs, game days and times-can be found on Kindo. As always, parent support is vital, so if you're able to help with coaching or managing a team, please indicate this on the registration form. Thank you for supporting our school sports programme. Mōtītī Skatepark trip, Picnic Day and Pool Party Celebration. Lucky kids, making the most of the last week of school fun!

Today we celebrated and farewellled our year 6 leavers for 2025. We would like to wish all of this group of Tamariki all the best for their next part of their schooling. Big thanks again to Justin Aitken Photographer, for capturing our celebration assembly for us.

Finishing off the volleyball season in the best way — our two teams playing each other in the final round at Mercury Arena on Friday night 🏐 What a fun season it’s been, and so awesome to see how much every player has improved along the way. Such a cool sport, well done boys and girls! Volleyball is also played in Term One, keep an eye out for rego's opening later this week.

Tomorrow is our annual picnic day. The SUN is going to be shining!!! We will ensure that we have sunblock stations, but please send your tamariki with rash shirts, their hat and any other sun protection. If you have questions about the day, please message your kaiako on Seesaw

Well done to Mōtītī 2 for taking out the Y5/6 Rounders competition for 2025 (who were undefeated for all 8 games). Te Manawanui 2 played a good game today in the final, but the 12 runs in the first inning was a challenge to catch up to. The final score was 16:8. Well done to all of the teams who participated over the last few weeks, developing your throwing, catching, striking, fielding, strategy and teamwork along the way. We’re sure you’ve all heard about the competition, hype and excitement. Bring on our next Y5/6 competition next term!!
