Pāpāmoa Primary School is a vibrant and inclusive school community located in the beautiful Bay of Plenty region of New Zealand, a stones throw from the beach and the Pāpāmoa hills - Te Rae o Pāpāmoa.

At Pāpāmoa Primary School, we take pride in our beautiful grounds and learning environments. Our classrooms are bright and spacious, with modern facilities that support engaging teaching and learning practices. Our school provides a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment that caters to the diverse needs of all our tamariki.

Our School values of Care - Manaakitanga, Commitment - Kia Manawanui, Courage - Kia Maia, and Connectedness - Whanaungatanga are reflected in everything we do.

We believe education is a partnership between parents, teachers, and students, and we work collaboratively to foster a love of learning and empower our students to reach their full potential.

We are proud of our school and the achievements of our students, and we look forward to sharing our learning journey with you.

SCHOOL PARKING - ROAD RULES Kia Ora Whānau Sadly, We have seen too many near misses in the last 10 days outside of school, so it is that time again to remind our community of our road rules and parking etiquette around our school. PLEASE Don't park in the Bus Stop Don't park on yellow lines Don't park across the driveway of houses near school While we would all love the pick-up and drop-off facilities of new schools like Te Manawa ō Pāpāmoa and Golden Sands, it's not a reality for our 46-year-old school. Using Google Maps, it is a 3-minute walk (300m) from the skate park to school and a 250m walk from Butterworth Cres to school. Parking on Papamoa Beach Road near number 870 and walking through the alleyway and across Simpson Reserve is 150m. Also please note: The car park at the front of the school on Dickson Road is not for daily parent drop-off or pick-up. Our before and after-school care van, our learning support whānau and special needs pick-ups use this. Having cars crossing the footpath on Dickson Road is also too dangerous. Please plan and park somewhere else. Lastly, make a plan with your kids. We have great and safe road patrols on both Dickson and Parton roads. So allowing 3-5min more will keep us all that much safer. A few of you will instantly say we need more parking, that the teachers should park elsewhere, etc. Unfortunately, this is not a reality; outside of school grounds, it is a council conversation, not a school one. We have pushed for a number of years as a growing school. But with the school only being busy for 15-20min a day 40 weeks only, it does not meet a need within the council priorities. I would appreciate your support and cooperation in making our school safer with our road management. Ngā mihi Matt
