Papamoa School is centrally located in Papamoa, on the corner of Parton and Dickson Rds.  

Once a small and tight knit community, many of Papamoa's sweeping paddocks have been swallowed up by urban development and Papamoa is now one of the fastest growing areas in New Zealand.  This is due to the increase in popularity of coastal communities; its proximity to Te Puke, Mt Maunganui and Tauranga and also the many recent local shopping developments.

Papamoa Beach is a beautiful long white sandy beach, stretching from Mount Maunganui in the west to the Kaituna River in the east, and it is renowned for its excellent fishing and surfing.
