     Hockey      

We have three hockey grades, Funsticks, Minis and Maxis.  Funsticks (Years 1 and 2) is a series of devoted 1 hour skills and participation sessions aimed at introducing hockey to the younger beginner individuals.  These sessions are held at Tauranga Boys College.   Minis (for Years 3 and 4) is a combination of participative and competitive graded games played on the grassed area at Blake Park.  Maxis (Years 5 and 6) are also both a participative and competitive environment played at Blake Park with further games at Otumoetai Intermediate and Otumoetai College.
Papamoa's representation of students is one of the largest participating in the Tauranga Hockey Primary School program.
