Partners in Learning - ERO
13 September 2016
The Education Review Office have published a new booklet to support parents/whanau when building learning partnerships for their children.  This publication highlights the significant role parents have as the most important 'out-of-school' influence on a child's educational success and furthermore highlights the significant potential of an active partnership with the teacher (the most important 'in-school' influence on a child's educational success). This is a worthwhile read and will share important information about what progress looks like, what to do if you feel your child is not making progress and also tips on understanding school reporting.
