i Save The World

Papamoa School's  "i Save the World" programme is aimed at inspiring students to help save the world by walking, cycling or taking the bus to school. It also increases their awareness of safety, and promotes health, environment, education, character, values and citizenship.

Each fortnight, classroom teachers receive a poster created for children by children.  The items on the poster support making the world a better place.

All students at Papamoa School receive a "Kids on Feet" bag tag and a coloured ticket. Each time students WALK, BIKE or BUS to school, their ticket is punched by one of our iSTW Marshals.   Once their ticket is full, students redeem it at the stamp shack for prizes and a new ticket.

It's FUN!,   It's FREE!,   It's FEET FIRST!

Year 4, 5 and 6 students have the opportunity to serve as iSTW Marshals, looking after the safety of the younger students, and encouraging "world saving actions."

 -  Be the change you want to see in the world ! -
