i Save The World

A delegation from the Tauranga Council and World Health Organisation visited our school to see our 'i Save the World' programme in action. They did this because Tauranga City has applied for accreditation as a Safe City. Todd gave a presentation explaining how 'i Save the World' began and how the student and parent support has gone from strength to strength. Later in the day we received the news that the WHO was extremely impressed with all they had seen throughout the day at all the places they visited, including us, and Tauranga City has been granted accreditation. We were very pleased and proud to have been part of the process. The visitors were each presented with a canvas made by some Motiti students who had brainstormed, planned and produced their canvas based around the ideals of the 'i Save the World' programme.
