Our whole Syndicate went on a trip to the
Buried Village near Rotorua as part of our study of Disasters. We saw
lots of interesting things and found out lots about the eruption of
Mount Tarawera in 1886, and the people who lives were affected by the
disaster.
Our annual swimming sports were held earlier this year. We had a variety of races
over the width and length of the pool. Some like the Horse and Cart and
Backwards Run were fun. We also held freestyle and backstroke races for
both width and length swimmers.
