This term has been a very busy term for the year 2 children in Karewa syndicate.  The school's focus for this term has been “Our Land, Our People”.  In year 2 we have focused on “Our Community” and “Our Local Shores”.  In doing this we have visited businesses in our community, had Toby from the council come and share with us and we have visited the rock pools around Mount Maunganui.  The students have been focusing on what THEY can do to help benefit and support Our Land and Our People.
